The Truth About Bottled Water
Okay, so this is a speech I get all the time. It's something my mother will tell people when she sees them drinking bottled water. And it's not the actual speech but the main bullet points.
America is the only country that bottles something that comes out of a faucet for free.
America drinks 4 billion bottles of water per week.
Only %60 percent of those bottles are recycled.
The other %40 percent fills up our landfills.
The jet fuel and gasoline used to move the bottles after they are filled are of a gratuitous amount and does damage to our planet.
In the ocean there is a bottled water wasteland twice the size of Texas. From the %40 percent of bottles that people did not recycle.
Many bottles of water take out the important minerals in water.
When people reuse water bottles (or freeze them) the plastic lining starts to shed and get into our water creating a new way to get cancer.

About me
Konbanwa. My name is Brendon -- and I am a girl, mind you. I'm gluttonous -- I eat a lot... but sadly I've had to cut that down for weight purposes and the sake of my braces (Owwies!). I like some healthy stuff, apples are my favorite. Celery is good too. Specially with peanut butter. I have a really big sweet tooth, specially for chocolate but sadly if I eat too much my throat starts to hurt and I get a bloody nose. If I eat TOO much candy my teeth start hurting too.
I support gay marriage. I write a lot, and it doesn't matter what style. I write horror, fantasy, action, mystery, and others. I can write my stories in a straight, bisexual, or homosexual tone to it -- please don't judge that. FOr a class assignment I dared to be different along with my best friend and we both chose to use homosexual characters instead of straight. I think it's a good thing, most students tend to write in straight settings because they don't want to be critisized but you know what? SCREW CRITISIZM I HAVE FREEDOM. What? I do.
Hmm... I'm hyper sometimes. And I can get angry. I like the Asian culture -- not just Japanese. I do read a lot of manga, though -- and I don't really care for anime (specially dubs! DOWN WITH DUBS!). I read solid books too, but notihng like Twilight. I like challenging books and books with a wide range of religions.
My religion isn't clear to me yet. I was baptized Catholic, raised Christian, and for a time I attended a Mormon church while exploring Buddhism with a close friend. I'm still looking for a religion just for me.
Ano, I think that's all for now.
